PRACTICE OWNER

Kim started the business in 2010 after a long career in corporate finance and retail. Her vision has always been to give smaller businesses the excellent financial insight and support that bigger businesses have, by bringing management accounting expertise into an accountancy practice geared towards owner-managed businesses. Kim is passionate about supporting smaller businesses and knows first-hand the pressures that business owners deal with. When not working, Kim loves running and very long walks, spending time with her family and has recently started horse-riding again after a very long break!

CLIENT MANAGER

Cheryl qualified at Level 3 with the Association of Accounting Technicians several years ago, at Level 3, and has been with us in our Client Management team for four years. She has an incredible ability to create order from the most muddled set of accounts imaginable, and the clients she works with are constantly singing her praises. She has many years finance experience and is very highly valued by the clients she looks after. Cheryl loves her garden and spends a lot of her free time there – she even has her own ‘plant hospital’ and is the source of plant knowledge for the rest of the team! She also loves to spend time with her family and is usually the one who discovers fab new places for the rest of us to try!

CLIENT MANAGER

Jayne is qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians at Level 4 and joined our Client Management team in 2018. She’s an experienced management accountant and fantastic at implementing new ways of doing things and new software solutions. She has a fabulous working relationship with the clients that she looks after.
Jayne has young children, so not a huge amount of time outside of work for anything else apart from being with the family, but she always manages to find time for her friends and family.

JUNIOR CLIENT MANAGER

Amanda is also qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians, currently at Level 2, but is studying for her Level 3. She originally joined the team in 2017, had a break for a while and luckily for us, returned in 2022, which is great! Amanda has many years’ experience in financial roles, including some time in payroll and is a dab hand at creating a nifty spreadsheet and at sorting out Accounts Payable muddles for clients! Amanda is usually to be found with her family and dogs, out for a run or a walk in the countryside, when not working.

PAYROLL MANAGER

Having spent her whole career in the accountancy sector, including seven years specifically dedicated to payroll services, Sam joined the team in the autumn of 2022 to be our Payroll Manager. Through her wealth of knowledge within the sector, Sam knows and understands the importance of a smooth payroll process and her calm and logical approach is welcomed by our clients. Outside of work you will find Sam with her family and friends or walking in the countryside. She has completed The National 3 peaks challenge under 24 hours as well as ticking many National trails, Wainwrights and Ethels off her list.

Bookkeeper

Natalie joined the team in 2022 and is level 3 qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians. She is currently working as our bookkeeper and is a great help to everyone in the office. Natalie can throw her hand to anything admin! When Natalie isn’t at work you will find her with her family or singing the evening away at music concerts. She has three daughters, so you can imagine life is rather busy with lots of clubs and activities!

Operations and Marketing Assistant

After completing a Professional Business Diploma at Oxford Media & Business School and a year as an Au pair in Scotland, Tinika joined the team in 2022 to take on the operations and marketing of The Numbers Business. She controls all the social media platforms, website and anything marketing based, whilst also looking after all our new clients as they join the practice. When she isn’t thinking of marketing strategies, Tinika can be found either on the hockey pitch, farm or anywhere outside in the countryside!
